Panorama apartment project enters new phasesBy TRUNG CHAU and THANH PHUONG

Property developer Phu My Hung Corp, has announced the second and third phases of the Panorama housing project in HCMC's District 7 after all the luxury apartments have been booked by buyers.
The Taiwanese-Vietnamese joint venture in HCMC says the project is attractive to buyers as it is situated by an artificial canal, a prime location in the new modern town developed by the company in Saigon South.
Moreover, the buyer will not have to sign a contract with the company when they register an apartment but the value of the deal is decided by the time of booking, freeing the buyer from worries about any volatility of prices.
Truong Quoc Hung, marketing director of Phu My Hung, said last week that the second phase comprises five blocks of six to 24 floors with only 64 apartments and 18 shops from the ground to second floors.
The third phase consists of a 36-hole golf course, and four 18-24-story blocks with 140 apartments and 10 shops from the ground to second floors.
The entire project has six buildings, which have 276 apartments and 51 shops and form a triangle with a courtyard in the center housing flower gardens, swimming pools, tennis courts and other facilities.
"Through the project, Phu My Hung wants to bring out a new concept of deluxe apartment and a new choice of living space," Hung said.
The apartments will cover 122 to 374 square meters and have a private parking space each.
At the Panorama, each level has only two apartments, limiting the density of population, so people can feel relaxed when living there, Hung said.
Work on phases two and three will start in the quarter of this year and I completed in the second quarter of 2008.
The project is designed by China's Surv Co. and developed by Sino-Pacific Construction Consultancy, also of China.
